Challenge The regional plan represents a regional coordinated effort to adopt the following five strategies Establish a Regional Goal The Boulder County Regional Housing Partnership recommends a goal of ensuring 12 of the housing inventory will be permanently affordable to low moderate and middle income households by 2035 Under the proposed plan the City of Boulder which has the largest affordable housing program in the county would provide staffing to local governments to ensure compliance with a regional affordable housing program by developers and residents
