Dimensions In Autocad Hello Everybody Please is there any way to generate automatically the dimensions of all rectangles in a drawing like the rectangle 1 see pdf attached instead of doing that manually for every rectangle Thanks

Now the drawing is very small but the dimensions it came with are correct What I want to do is to scale the drawing to its right size and keep the dimensions as those were the correct dimension to begin with But after scaling the drawing to its right size the dimensions are scaled as well which makes the dimensions too big For example in Solidworks I can draft a rectangle and put a couple of dimensions and then I can change the rectangle size just typing the desired values in each dimension Moreover if my environment is set to IPS I can input dimension values in metric just adding the right suffix for example 10 mm

Hello I have a dim on top of a hatch trying to mask dim text selected dimension changed fill color to BACKROUND sent hatch to back brought dim to front AND above object The dimensions and text appear superimposed on a white background that does not allow to see them at a short distance for example I make a line 10m long and put a dimension to mark it and not being very far from the line it turns white I have to get very close to put the line on the entire screen so that the dimension text comes out and can be noticed

I am trying to switch from AC2024 to AC2025 I recieved a drawing from a company we are doing work for My problem is that when I go to dimension in paperspace it is not showing me the actual dimension rather it is showing the paperspace dimension it is showing 25 when it should be showing 2 0 my viewport is 1 8 1 0 nbsp my Hello Was wondering if anyone has run across this and how to fix In the drawing file which I ve attached the leaders and dimensions are drawing correctly and pointing to the correct end point but after creating a pdf file whether directly plotting or using the publish command it has a slight shift as you can see an example of where I circled in the image below

I believe that means the Text Alignment is Horizontal regardless of the Dimension s measured direction not Aligned with the dimension line which in similar terminology for vertical Dimensions would be UP SIDE LEFT or maybe RIGHT SIDE UP meaning not CORRECT SIDE UP but with the Right end of the Text if it were horizontal I recently installed AutoCAD 2016 64 bit and I found a bug with dimensions disappearing I had multiple drawings open nbsp I switched to one drawing did some work then came back later to original dwg nbsp When I did that all DIMENSION objects were gone nbsp Other objects on my DIM layer were still there including text and LEADER
