Why Isn T My Cc Working Sims 4 My sims 4 cc wont work and ive tried a number of ways to try to fix it I repaired it updated it restarted my computer uninstalled reinstalled it and i don t know how to fix this and yes in the game it has the custom content switch on
I have tried everything that I can think of to make custom content and mods to work in Sims 4 from my mac laptop It used to work and then suddenly it stopped working for example cc and script mods are no longer being recognised in the start up folder anymore I Help I had a good amount of Sims 4 CC added to my game and earlier today I went to add a lot more And by a lot more I mean I had like 52 or something CCs I wanted to install I made the mistake of adding them all at once to my Mods folder that is and I assume that that s why I can t access ANY of my CCs They were working just fine

I ve downloaded a bunch of mods and cc for the Sims 4 I have made sure to enable the options and they do show up in the mod box but none of them appear or work The mods are a mix of actual mods clothing makeup careers and stuff I m a complete and total noob at EVERYTHING electronics Please I never deleted my old cc I just left it in my mods folder because I still use it But when I went into the sims none of my new cc was showing up I always update my game and I have mods and script mods turned on Electronic Arts folder is located on my desktop and as u can see I have a lot of mods and over half of them aren t showing up
I went on a cc spree about two days ago while my game Sims 4 was updating When it finished updating I went in the game enabled mods then left the game made sure all my new downloaded cc was in the Mods folder and I went back in the game I m in CAS and I see that none of the new cc I download IsabellaCatkite If you don t remove your mods and CC from your Mods folder before you install a patch the game will automatically disable mods and CC in your Game Options settings This is to give players a chance to check for updates for their mods and CC and replace anything that s been outdated by the patch before you load a game save

Outdated mods or cc can cause problems or not show up in game 2 Is the cc made for Sims 4 Downloading and trying to install cc made for Sims 3 will cause issues 3 If you have sorted your cc into sub folders you will need to set your Resource cfg file accordingly Sub folders are basically folders inside another These are items that come in the packs and base game Non custom mods This was all after the update today and it is driving me crazy trying to figure this out My computer does meet exceed what the min requirements are for the Sims so that isn t an issue From my reading there are a few different buggies going about with this update
