The Council s overall housing policy priority is to Create housing options that give people in all life stages and of all economic means viable choices for safe stable and affordable homes Housing choices allow households to find housing affordable to them in the communities where they want to live A full range of housing types can help Our work areas include collaborating on Housing Production Plans producing residential market analyses creating mixed income neighborhood and TOD plans gathering interpreting and sharing housing data drafting zoning bylaws and ordinances lobbying for statutory change at the state level and assisting with community outreach and engagement
